Hey everyone! Happy New Year!
I hope everyone is ready to embrace 2021 with new goals and resolutions! Let’s take a look at how 2020 treated me!
2020 was crazy! Many weird, strange and sad things happened around the world. But there is also the brighter side, which is what I have been focusing on till the very end.
I learnt a lot of stuffs in 2020 and I’ll keep these stuffs in mind for the rest of my life. The most important thing I learnt was, self love. Staying in quarantine made me realize that I haven’t been focussing on myself. I took all the time I needed to love myself again and treat myself in the right way.
Next thing, I improved my cooking skills. A LOT. I learnt how to make Chai Latte at home, which is an achievement because I would always go out to buy it. I learnt how to make Donuts, Granola, Peanut Butter cups and even Caramel candies! Well, they’re mostly desserts but it’s still an achievement right? 😂
Other little things I’m proud of:
updated my channel and site layout
reactivated my Tumblr blog (for the 5th time)
started reading ebooks (didn’t complete any.. but well, at least I tried to which was out of my comfort zone)
learnt more about sustainability
wrote many collab posts

Most of my tips and advises were aimed to myself before I share them out here. This post was written this summer when I started to appreciate every single detail of my life.

Favorite songs of the year
♬ Walls Album by Louis Tomlinson
This album is crazily amazing! I can’t find the words to describe how to amazing it is! I’m sad, it didn’t get much recognition or attention. It deserves better!

Johnny Orlando’s songs are regular Teen Pop and that’s what makes me love each of them. I don’t find much of these songs anymore.

My coffee addiction didn’t get any lesser. It just increased even though I tried to consume less every month. And thanks to Morgan for her cozy, helpful coffee videos!

All the Books I’ve Read
✧ All The Bright Places by Jennifer Niven
I’m glad I got to read this book. It’s so beautiful, deep and emotional. It touched my heart! I haven’t watched the movie yet, I have to remind myself everytime.
✧ The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas
It was a coincidence to get this book few months before the BLM incident in USA. This book felt realistic, it made me angry and sad because it was completely based on real life and what real people go through.
✧ Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury (reread)
I’ve read this book last year. It’s not really my favorite. It just wasn’t like any other books I’ve read, so I like it. But when I read it the first time, I haven’t appreciate it enough so I thought of rereading it.
✧ Archenemies & SuperNova by Marissa Meyer
I’ve wrote a whole review of this book series. And I mentioned how I’m in love with this book series and I highly recommend it.
✧ Thus Spoke Zarathustra by Friedrich Nietzsche (ebook)
I’ve came across many quotes on tumblr that was from this book, so I decided to download the ebook version. It was hard to continue reading it but I enjoyed the first two chapters.
