6 ways to brighten your mood (after a tough day)

Heyy everyone!! Where have I been? You’ll ask, well I was actually taking a little break from blogging to focus more on school. It’s only the second week of school and I feel like it’s the second month. Anyway, so today I’m gonna share 6 ways (I figured) that might help brighten your mood— mostly after getting back from school.Now let’s hop into the post!

6 Ways To Brighten Your Mood

A Cup Of Coffee

I think this is for me cause I’m addicted to it but for me it actually helps (or maybe gives me such illusion). It doesn’t make me energetic anyway, but I can’t do anything without it. I always make myself a cup of coffee before doing anything, it’s like a habit now.


I mean, how can you survive your day without music? This is one of the things I do to start my day— if I wasn’t late for school which doesn’t happen often. But honestly, when I’m in a bad mood or tired after school, I’ll have an urge to listen to loud music, the type that makes you wanna dance around.

Scroll Through Instagram or Pinterest

I usually scroll through instagram just to keep up with everything and see what’s was going on. But I don’t do it much anymore since I usually concentrate on my school tasks everyday. Like I can spend a maximum of half an hour only. It’s different with pinterest though. I always find different inspiration, motivation and sometimes stuffs to sketch.

Write A Bucket list For The Day

This is something I started doing during the last days of summer to make use of the day. And since school has started already, writing a bucket list is a must or else I’ll easily forget everything I’m supposed to do. Yeah, I forget a lot, like sometimes I need someone to remind me.

Take A Nap

I usually hate taking naps after school cause I feel like the day gets wasted quickly and also cause I end up being extra lazy after waking up so I end up not doing anything. But when I don’t sleep well for many days, I don’t think twice before taking a nap. Well, sometimes I fall asleep on my desk while doing my homeworks XD.


Believe me when I tell you that they are the best kinds of youtubers! Their contents are my true source of inspiration. I find myself motivated and ready to study and make aesthetic notes after watching their videos.

  1. I like a lot of these points expecially the nap one. Only there is one dilema, I can’t nap… I’m one of those people who can only sleep at night or never. Unless it’s Ramadan in whichcase all human sleeping logic flies out of the door 😂😂

      1. 😂 I’m used to telling one of my close friends the same thing. She’s absolutly obsessed with coffee in an unhealthy way.
        Until this day I can not figure out how she survives Ramadan without coffee 😂

  2. Love these ideas! I think Pinterest is a great way to brighten up your day, Instagram can brighten your day but in some ways, it could negatively affect your mood too, if you get what I mean? Coffee is AMAZING the best thing ever, and listening to music (stream 2099 by Charli XCX and Troye Sivan) is amazing – great post!! xx
